Orcaboard ™ Plastic Lumber
Orcaboard ™ Recycled Plastic Lumber is a solid profile material with colorants and UV inhibitors throughout. Made using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) from recycled milk jugs, Orcaboard™ is extremely durable, tougher than wood, non-toxic and maintenance free. Orcaboard ™ is unaffected by saltwater, rot and insects, will not fade, check, split, or splinter, is easy to work with using standard tools and fasteners and comes with a 50 year limited warranty. Permanent UV stabilized colors eliminates the need for painting, staining, waterproofing, stripping and resurfacing. Orcaboard ™ is also resistant to paint, ink, mildew, and other contaminants which may be removed using mild cleaners. |

Plastic Bench Leg Components
Durable Plastic Design plastic bench legs are colored in Black with the exception of the Bench into Table legs which are colored in White. The Black legs are a Flow Molded, solid profile Recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with colorant and UV inhibitors throughout and a limited warranty of 15 years.
Metal Bench Leg Components
Durable Plastic Design metal bench legs are colored Black and coated with Plascoat PPA 571, a thermoplastic powder developed specially to achieve long term adhesion to both mild steel and aluminium substrates. PPA 571is especially suited for excellent resistance to ultraviolet light, salt spray and atmospheric pollutants. These qualities have made PPA 571 specifically specified by the US Navy and Coast Guard.
The corrosion protection and UV resistance offered by PPA 571 is excellent. After 2000 hrs QUV (ASTM G53) or Xenon arc (ASTM G26), there is no significant change in color, gloss or mechanical properties. Salt spray testing to ASTM B117 has exceeded 20,000 hrs with no blistering, cracking, corrosion or flaking. Even if damaged, under-film corrosion when scribe tested to ASTM B117 for 1000 hrs is likely to be between 0 and 0.5mm. Loss of adhesion when testing to ASTM D 3359-A is zero.
